Performance of different liquid desiccant evaporative cooling systems in hot and humid regions

Presents six kinds of common waste heat driven liquid desiccant evaporative cooling systems. Under hot and humid environments, analyses the performances of six kinds of systems by varying the inlet temperature of waste heat water. The results show that the supply air temperature and humidity of the system with air-to-air total heat exchanger and evaporative cooler are suitable. The cooling capacity obtained by out door air is 2.8%~66.7% more than that of other systems. The average thermodynamic coefficient of the system is 0.916. The system is verified under the hot and humid environment of different cities.
